Whether you're looking for annual dog vaccines or need reliable allergy injections for dogs, our expert care helps your furry friend stay happy and healthy all through the year.
Vaccinations are important for pet parents to ensure that their pet stays protected from life-threatening diseases. At each vaccination appointment, we conduct a complete physical examination to gauge your dog's health levels before receiving any vaccines. If your dog is found to be unwell during the physical examination, its immediate health issues need to be addressed before rescheduling the vaccination for a later date.
Vaccinations typically can be categorized as Primary and Annual. Primary vaccinations are given during the early stages of a dog's life, and annual vaccinations are ongoing protection for adult dogs that are given once a year, throughout their lives.
Vaccinating your puppy on time helps in building their immunity against common diseases.
The recommended schedule for puppy vaccinations is:
Once the third vaccine is given, your puppy can start socializing after 1-2 weeks. If the vaccination protocol was broken for any reason, booster shots will be given to get full immunity.
Annual dog vaccines are given one year after the third vaccine and should be continued every year for life to maintain immunity. For new clients, previous vaccination certificates or any sort of records or history are required for accurate vaccinations. We discuss and administer heartworm, intestinal worm, flea and tick prevention at vaccination appointmnents upon request. We offer advice on nutrition and well-being during the appointment. At Anivet Care, we also offer dog vaccination home services, for times you are unable to take your dog to the vet - so that your dog can receive medical care it needs, within a familiar environment
Intestinal worms, if left untreated, can adversely affect your dog's health.Prevention protocols are done from 2-4 weeks old by the breeder and are continued every fortnight by new pet owners until the dog is 3 months old. After this, the worm prevention can be administered once every month up until the dog is 6 months old. After the dog is 6 months old, the worming is given once every 3 months for life depending on environmental and feeding factors. Worm prevention ensures that your dog remains free from common parasites, reducing risks to both their health and the household.
Heartworm is a deadly infection that is transmitted via infected mosquitoes. It is preventable by accurately choosing the right type of prevention.
We do advise on choosing product that are tailored for personal situations.Heartworm prevention can be done on a monthly or yearly basis, based on the type of preventions.
Flea and tick prevention is important to keep your dog healthy. Various prevention products are available and can be tailored to your dog's needs and preferences. We discuss these options during vaccination or other vet appointments, so that you can choose the best fit for your dog
Allergies can cause major irritation and discomfort to your dogs. At Anivet Care, we also offer allergy injections for dogs to help manage their symptoms effectively. Our injections will help to reduce allergy symptoms and improve their overall quality of life.

Annual dog vaccines protect dogs from diseases like parvovirus, distemper, and leptospirosis, ensuring long-term immunity.
We conduct a physical examination to ensure your dog is healthy before receiving a vaccination. If your dog is found to be sick in the examination, the vaccination is postponed for another day, and the immediate health concerns are addressed first.
Puppies need three rounds of vaccines during their first year, followed by annual boosters every year for life.
If the vaccination protocol is broken, booster shots are given to restore your dog's immunity.
